I bought a prebuilt pc from komplett.no here in Norway in 2016.
It came with an msi z170-a pro motherboard.
My problem is this.
My current CPU is an Intel i7-6700.
I plan to upgrade it to n i7-7700k.
But in order to do that I need a bios that is 2 versions newer than my current.
So here is the problem.
The current bios version is : E7971IKB.1C0. ( custom bios )
I need to update to E7971IMS.1F0
The problem is that komplett.no said they don't use custom bios when building pcs.
Msi said not to be worried.

How exactly I'm I supposed to fix this problem?

Solution
This was my reply from msi.
Does this sound correct?

If you want to install the 7700K in the PC, you have to update the BIOS to E7971IMS.1F0 or newer. You can use the DOS tool (below first link) to flash your current BIOS to the latest BIOS on MSI website (below second link), please refer to the below steps. But the customized version features such as special Logo or some other special function will not exist, and the BIOS flash progress may have some risk. We also suggest you can contact the reseller to flash the BIOS. Thanks!
