my new build of Z270 gaming m7 mobo can't recognize the Intel 600p ssd in BIOS. I connect it on the first M.2 slot, M2_1, but in bios, it always shows empty.

Plus, I already upgrade BIOS version to E7A57IMS.110, which is the 1.1version, released on 01/04/2017. But still no good.

Is there a solution? I want to use the Intel 600P as boot drive to install Windows. Even in my windows installation, I can't see the M.2 drive.

Thank you for your quick answer.
how to check my bios set to UEFI mode?

After I enabled "Windows 8.1/ 10 WHQL Support", do i need to disable "Windows 7 Installation", "MSI Fast boot", ""fast boot"?

Any other settings need to toggle?

What OS are you installing ?
Currently you don't need fast boot on.

Windows 10 Pro.

both fast boot options are turned off.

but I still can't see the ssd been recognized. either in bios or in the windows installation when it asks you to choose a driver to install.

No luck.

I tried to switch the M.2 ssd at all 3 different slot position. none of them recognize it. bios just keep showing "not present"

any possibility that M.2 ssd is broken? even though I don't think it's highly possible.

Did you check that the M.2 slots are enabled for use in the bios?
You may want to email MSI for more information/help.

Hello,

i have the same problem.

I installed yesterday the windows 10 pro at my new PC with a z270 gaming m7 from msi and the Intel 600p ssd.

The installing was no problem, because windows recognized my ssd. After reboots from windows start the windows with no problems. But at night i shutdowned the PC and today the OS can't start again, "No Boot-Disk found".

Than i have set the Windows 8.1/10 WHQL Support to Enabled, but now the BIOS can't recognize the SSD. Before i have set the point to Enabled, i can chose the ssd at the Boot Menu.

Sorry for my bad english.

thank you for help

So what did you do next? I can't see my Intel 600P NVMe ssd from the beginning. No matter I tweak the Windows 8.1/10 WHQL option on/off.
