I would like to request assistance with my old MSI Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard, as its secure boot is currently inactive. This issue is preventing me from playing games that require secure boot to be enabled, particularly those with anti-cheat systems. I have already attempted all the solutions I know, including updating the BIOS and enabling the secure boot feature. However, when I save the changes (F10), the PC fails to boot. I have watched numerous YouTube videos, but none of the suggested fixes have worked. I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.

Did you install the OS in CSM mode? If so, that's why you're unbale to boot to OS when Secure Boot is enabled. You will need to disable CSM(meaning you're in UEFI) and you have to reinstall your OS after recreating your bootable USB installer for the OS.

For the sake of relevance, what BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

AMI BIOS1.D2016-02-176.15 MB - 7917v1D This is my latest bios of my motherboard Z97 gaming 5.

My Windows 10 suddenly became inactive while I was playing Counter Strike 2 and Valorant, and I am no longer able to play these games. As a solution, I upgraded my system from Windows 10 to Windows 11 by bypassing the usual installation process to install UEFI GPT. I converted the system from MBR to GPT before directly installing Windows 11, without using a USB drive. Thank you for your attention.
