MSI Z97-GAMING 7 or Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SOC FORCE

I'm creating a new build, and I want to know which motherboard First (1) Fits the processor best (i7 4790k) and Secondly (2) Fits the appearance of my build. I have chosen the NZXT H440 Mid Tower for my case, which comes in amongst other colours Red or Orange, so im wondering which one you guys think looks better, and performs better, seeing as they are roughly in the same price markup. Thanks!

1. I would go for the MSI motherboard because Gigabyte has gone through many motherboard problems in the past.
2. It says there are also blue and green cases. I would either go for the standard White/Black case or the Blue/Black case. Also, the MSI GPU has a better visual.
