MSI Z97 MPOWER or ASRock Z97 Extreme9 for gaming?

Going to buy I7-4790K and I wonder which board will be more stable, faster and have lower temperatures when gaming. Also how far can i push these boards when overclocking? I have Phanteks PH-TC14PE for cooling. Extreme 9 is more expensive but does it perform better?

I would go MSI Z97 MPOWER, the MSI MPOWER OR XPOWER would do very well on extreme overclocking , would be more stable on overclock ,you will get a lower temp with i7 4790k.

Big thanks for the info. Still I have to think about it. Asrock 9 should also be good with overclocking with it's huge heatsinks and a long heat pipe. Maybe it's still cooler then?

MSI Z97 MPOWER have three heatsink around cpu (would get a better cool temp)and use very nice component(HI-C CAP ,SUPER FERRITE CHOKES ,DARK CAP) .

Well, if you want a cool temp ,maybe you should compare MSI Z97 MPOWER MAX AC and ASRock Z97 Extreme9 base on the same price.
MSI Z97 MPOWER MAX AC have more better heatsink( water cooling heatsink) than ASRock Z97 Extreme9 ,it well have nice overclocking performance and nice cool temp.

For overclocking, the extreme4 and the extreme6 perform the same than the extreme9, all of them have a 12 power phase design, but the extreme6 and 9 have more m.2 slots and the extreme9 supports 4 way sli with a plx chip, hence, thats the price difference, you can save a few bucks going for a extreme4 board.
