Multi-GPU or Single GPU Solution

Should I go with Multi-GPU Solution to increase framerate?

I am also worried about Software Compatibility as well as MicroStutter issue.

I am not so sure how does AMD Frame Pacing work, but my question is, will Frame Pacing eliminate Micro-Stutter when running at Single Display Monitor?

If I go with R9 280X Crossfire, will it take advantage of super high refresh rate 144Hz or greater such as ASUS VG248QE and BenQ XL2420TE?

A single 280x is fine for 1080p gaming or less. Going Xfire just to get close to monitors refresh rate is pointless. I don't have first hand experience but I've heard that xfire can still have micro stutter issues, at least a lot more than SLI does.

Then what about Frame Pacing Technology? Will it really help eliminate Micro-Stutter?
