the idea is that me and my brother put togheter our funds for a pc and build one massive pc with multiseat software so we can both game at the same time but don't have too spend 50% of the funds.

thank you 😀

Solution
4790k would be better as it runs cooler under heavy load. You can save 90 dollars on getting the vengeance ram that is the exact same stick with a different shroud, it also looks better with the red mobo if you get red heatsinks.
because we like to play coop games togheter but most of the time he is browsing the web or doing nothing and i like too game on ultra so when i read about multi seat gaming i though it was a good fit for me

That's actually a really good idea :L had never though people could do this.

I just switched around the case to a slightly smaller version because the 820s are a bit too expensive. Also switched out the power supply for something considerably more reliable.
If it were me I'd change the kraken to the noctua dh14, downgrade the ssd size to 250GB, and upgrade to a I7 4790k - but that's just my personal preference.
Otherwise looks like a solid build.

If you want to both game at the same time I would certainly go for a 4790k. You can probably tweak it so you dont spend much more if you get cheaper ram:

@gl3nn - do you have any toturial on multi-seating?
I`m really interested into this, since I could do the same and avoid buying a new laptop for my wife.
If you have anything regarding this, please let me know.

i took the one from smacker and only changed the cpu cooler for better overclocking ability also is 2x8gb ram worth it instead of 4x4gb ram?

Thanks for that info. I think I`ll downgrade to Win7 in order to use the SoftXpand. I already ordered a new monitor for this.

Now, regarding the gaming - I assume you need to login with a different account on every workstation in order to be able to play a game, right? I assume you can`t use the same account on multiple workstations at the same time...
I`m talking about playing the same game on both workstations.

Regarding your build, why not the i7 4790K since you have a Z97 mobo? Also, do you need two CPU coolers?

you can also do it on windows 8 and yes you need to buy two times the games IF you want to play it online else you can use one if you disable your internet.
i have the i7 4790k right? and good call i missed that one going to remove it xd
