Multiple Displays with Multiple Cards

I have a system currently running a PNY 560ti. I need to add another card in order to run 4x displays. I know that AMD cards can utilize lower end cards in tandem with high end cards to drive additional displays, does the same hold true for nvidia cards as well? I do have extra PCI-E 3.0 slots.

Yes you can. You just can not setup SLI between the cards. They can work independently to drive multiple displays.
