My 2nd HDD makes my pc slow

Well i installed one of my older HDD's on my new gaming rig and pc has been slower, when i load control pannel, or my computer or even the interent makes me wait longer then usually. If no one noes how to fix this i will just uninstall it from my pc because i don't really need i was just going to use it store all my movies and btw i don't know the specs of the hardrive buts a 160GB via sata cable.

MY PC SPECS:
MOBO: ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3
CPU: Intel i5 2500K @ 3.3ghz (Need a better fan to overclock)
GPU: GTX 560 Ti 1Gb
RAM: 2x4gb g.skill ram
HDD: 1tb 7500rpm western digital HDD
PSU: 750W Thermaltake PSU
CASE: Nzxt Guardian

Just for curiosity's sake, you could run Seatools test on it. As a second drive, you could run the Windows version.
I'm thinking, maybe it has bad sectors, and maybe your system has put a (hidden) pagefile on it. This could effect extreme slowness, or even worse.

You could also try a different SATA connector.
