AMD still sucks ass, I love all the posts daily about how they suck, overheat, dont run, crash, crash, overheat, and sucks some more. so ramble all you want but the proof is posted here daily by lemmings with suck ass computers and their problems. enjoy =)

I might get a radeon or I might not. whats wrong with my video card? it snuffs yours by far.

BTW AMD does not make nvidia parts since you think they are married or out of the same fab or something, what a retard you are.

I could have sworn this was all about benchmarking a non-overclocked Pentium 4 and GeForce3. Given enough cooling I could give you guys a score running at 3.5GHz, but it wouldn't mean much to those looking to buy a CPU and run it in a stock case. Honestly though a Pentium 4 does not need to be overclocked to beat an Athlon in these benchmarks. The default clockspeeds are more than high enough. The Athlon competes with its high IPC. The Pentium 4 competes with its high clockspeed. Performance is both of them multiplied together. However, the clockspeed increases for the Pentium 4 have moved beyond the IPC benefits of the Athlon, even of the Palomino. AMD will need a new core soon to remain competitive.

Kelledin, matisaro has been twisting things since the start of this post, sure you can side with the loser (since your one too) but the fact remains, I can easily hit upwards of 7500 and beyond.

If you read back, I corrected myself in that my video card was overclocked. I did not deny that.

I Posted a 7300+ score and you know it will only get better with drivers and win98.

Even after I corrected myself, the lemmings were still in doubt. Please read back and eat your words "You claimed you could reach ~7500 without OC'ing your GF3, and guess what--you couldn't"

Beat my score or stfu =) I own you both.
 
3dmark2001 is more dependant on the videocard than the cpu, but it is more intel friendly than amd friendly. AMD has enough time with the new chipsets and cores to make a good follup core design.(maybe a modified hammer with dual cores on a single chip with a shared io system, that would rock)
We will see, for the time being and for the next 6 months amd's chips are going to be very attractive.

All geforce3 cards are not created equil. I was lucky to have a decent overclocking card to begin with, bummer I wasnt aware of the defect on it or I could have taken steps to prevent it from failing.

FSB also effects score more than pure Mhz.

Hammer is still vaporware.
 
Here is FUGGERS coverup....err I mean correction to his claim of running stock.

My 7360 score was with overclocked video card @ 220/515. you will notice the power strip in bottom right corner. thats the easiest way to overclock stock drivers when coolbits doesnt work.

Your first claim was 7300 at default, we slammed you.
Your second claim was 7300 at 220/515, your excuse was you "didnt know" you were still overclocked. OK, only an idiot would be this stupid, but OK. Let me be the first to say, you cannot GET 7300 at 220/515, but thats another point. Both of these tests were on a p41.5@1.8 as you have claimed.

Can you explain to me, how now that your videocard is at 240/550 you actually get 20 pts less of a score? AND, another nail in your lying coffin, YOU ARE RUNNING A P4 @2.16GHZ NOW! Net result, the score dosent add up you troll, no matter which way you cut it, you are an ignorant liar. It is a damn shame you had to fry a videocard, and buy a new processor to conclusivly prove that you are a liar.
PS: dont give me the bullshit you already had the 1.8ghz processor, if thats true why were you running the 1.5 in the first place.

Raystonn, I could have used the "NDA" excuse but lemmings here would have a field day with that (as if I dont get called a liar enough). So I decided on not using that as an excuse or a reason not to post scores. like yourself I do have to be carefull what I post.

Anyway, Im happy in proving to the lemmings here I can hit the scores with my home rig and take great pleasure in watching them whine about it.

Right, the "I didn't know I had it overclocked," defense. That's possibly the most BS defense I ever heard--especially as at 220/515 (your revised GF3 clock claim), 7500 3Dmarks is still not possible. One of your fellow P4 owners was nice enough to clear that up for us, remember? :tongue:

Honestly, I don't feel the need to blow money on a GF3, interrupt my work to boot to windows, and take my time doing a benchmark I hardly care about. The original point of this argument has already been made: you're full of sh|t. :lol:

But alas even in the old days when me and tbird started [-peep-] for something to do we beat that we had posts laid in under 20 seconds. Drivers son, drivers. I was scoring nice till I swtiched drivers a few times around. I even lost points with most drivers I tried, Its not what you wanted to hear and I am sure you will rant some more about it since you are a retard.

I need to run some more benchmarks, and retune my machine driver wise. like I said this is my starting point. I have no problem kicking back down to 1875Mhz since FSB effects score as much as overclocking the card. This card doesnt have the overclockability as my last one had. so Ill do my best to compensate. IE win98 and 10.70 gonna whine about that too?

Im back at stock WHQL drivers again, dont believe me go look at my score on madonion. cannot hide that. stock whql driver scoring 7300+ is not bad. Also Im not running powerstrip anymore.

WTG Inspector Gadget... Obviously you waste more time trying to prove me wrong than I spend running benchmarks.

hold your breath till my next madonion bench score please =)
 
Whatever FUGGER, you can install any drivers you want, and pay 4000000 for the ln2 cooling system to get 7500 pts. My origional claim, and all my subsequent claims are proven, you are a liar, and a troll. Enjoy the new videocard, be sure not to fry it now.

When I was in my early teens I knew a guy,his name was Manu.Manu liked to tell lies.Well I guess it wasn't his own choice,he was simply compelled to do so.He didn't lie about other people,only about his own "achievements".
He did it for years until he got beat up really bad by our "gang".After that he dissapeared.I never saw him again,I hope he's alive and happy.
Why do I remember this now?
After being beat up,missing some teeth,few broken ribs,busted nose,
he sneered to us! (I mean a sort of a smile)
Had he done his job!? Who knows.
