It shows in Task Manager that my speed is at 3600. I am using CORSAIR Dominator Platinum RGB 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6600.

I have tried setting it to DOCP 1 & DOCP 2 and PC wont boot. Bios is updated and My Motherboard ASUS TUF Gaming X670E-PLUS can handle that speed.

Other Specs:
7800x3d
rtx 4080
Windows 11

PC gets POSTed in Safe Mode because system instability

Got a link to said ram kit?

For the sake of relevance, what BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

Might want to try and work with 2 sticks of ram instead of 4. 2 sticks in slots A2 and B2. If that works, your integrated memory controller doesn't like that kit or 4 sticks of ram.

Go to the motherboard site and look up the tested memory configurations in the QVL list. They list actual part numbers that have been tested to work. If you buy kits from the list it "should" run at the rated speeds for you too.

Anything that is not on the list just has not been tested. It does not mean will not work it just means you are the one testing and maybe having to adjust the timings to make it work.

In general you do not want to use 4 sticks of memory if you have the option to use 2. The CPU and motherboard memory controller seem to handle 2 better and faster than 4.

Ordered. G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MT/s CL30-38-38-96 1.35V Desktop Computer Memory UDIMM - Matte Black (F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR)

Hopefully that will help with my ram issues.

Thanks all!

So far the best I've achieved without playing with timings in the BIOS for days is 6200 but that kits latency made it equivalent to my 6000 low latency kit.

6000 is really the OTB limit you'll find to be stable without time invested.
