Hello, I'm having problems with my blue yeti. I bought it around a year ago used and it worked perfect for about a month and then I accidentally shocked it with my finger while bringing it closer to me and now all of a sudden it sounds trashy. I don't know what to do I've contacted the support and searched all over the internet for solutions but can't find any. I'm going to take it apart if I can't figure out what's wrong with it. I hope someone can figure out what happened. I've tried using different cords and different computers but still won't work. Also, the mic monitoring works kind of but I can't hear anything on the pc as I used to before. Here is the mic quality, Thank you.http://

Sounds like some sort of resonance.

How big or bad was the shock. Was the mic dropped/knocked over as a result?

There are internal components that could have been damaged by either the electrical discharge and/or physical blow.

Here is a link that may help you take the mic apart if it comes down to doing that.

Look for anything broken, burned brown or black.
