My problems is that whenever I get into a game I can be playing for anywhere from 15mins to 45mins and the computer crashes - sometimes blue screen sometimes it just goes to black screen and doesnt response and then sometimes it comes back to windows and says the graphics card driver has failed.

I have tried to increase the fan speed up on the GPU as well as the 4 fans on the case this does help alittle but it still fails. I have a water cooling system for the CPU and it generallys stays pretty cool the whole time so i am guessing it isnt that.
The GPU generally gets to around 66degrees but I thought it would be able to get hotter then that before it would fail.

So im basically stumped as to what the problem could be. I was going to either buy a water cooling system for my GPU or get a new one.

My power supply is a 1200watt thermatake true power.

So could someone please help me??

Cheers

Have you made any changes to your BIOS? You may want to start with clearing your CMOS in case you've got an odd setting that is causing this issue. Otherwise, do you know the error your occasional Blue Screen is giving you?

Does this issue only occur in games? You could try running a game off of your integrated graphics and taking out the GPU to see if it is indeed your GPU causing the issue. It could also be a driver issue. You could try the latest beta drivers, or if you're using them, try rolling back a driver to see if that fixes your issue.

I have not made any changes to my BIOS that I know of.
It only happens in Games as I Currently watch my movies off my computer. I run and HDMI Cable from my GPU to my TV and i can watch 1080p Movies that are 3 hours long and I don't have an issue. My kids Also watch there Kids movies all day on via the same way and It never has problems. So its always only on games. Actually This morning I was playing the new Starcraft Game legacy of the Void and about 20mins into it it cut out and game me a white screen and I had to restart the computer.

I have all of the latest GPU drivers

Well, you could try a few things, the first I would try is integrated graphics, the next thing I would try is trying a different PCI slot on your motherboard to see if that does it. If the iGPU works, then it's quite possibly an issue with the GPU, and if switching PCI lanes fixes it, it could be something unseated the card, or the first lane could be having issues.
