my computer is slower

i can't play video games as good as before my computer is about a year old and it doesn't have any viruses or adware and my gpu drivers are updated so i don't really know why its slower.

need more info, change anything? overclock anything? maybe your cpu/gpu has an issue....

Run ccleaner (backup registry and clean it) and the analyze option too, etc.
defrag if you use a mechanical drive
scan with malwarebytes
Check your temps, download coretemp for cpu temp checking, and gpuz for gpu temps.
Is your computer dusty?
Check your hard drive with hdtune.

The desktop is default from factory temps are normal i haven't cleaned it since i bought it

First scan with AdwCleaner then Hitman Then Malwarebytes.When you done if you find any threats program will remove or you can do it by yourself. Next thing as said try cleaning your pc. Good to hear.If u will have more problems u may take it to shop were you bought so then can check it up
