My Computer Restarts Randomly When Playing Games

I have had my custom PC for about 6 months, and recently (about 3 weeks ago) it began to just restart. The restarts occur randomly, mostly when playing games, and it is not because of overheating, as my temps are 30C for GPU and 55C for cpu under load. I have tried almost everything and am getting very desperate, any help would... help. bluescreenview says something about it being caused by ntoskrnl.exe

Trial and error is how we all learned computers..its very hard to diagnose systems failures from a distance. Seeing the system(like you can) is always a more sure fire diagnostic method. I am glad you got things going...

It is not working anymore, it does the restarts again... damn..

Question. Did you remove ram or install anything recently? Just wondering why the RAM caused you an issue. Was it not pressed firmly into slot? How did it get loose?

I do not think that it was the ram after all 🙁

I hope so too.. i remember having issues before my new build and its very frustrating. But few people (mostly moderators) commented and helped me out and got me running again. Since then i have a new build, see rig in sig, with help from this forum. It was just nice to help someone trying to help me out and i am learning more and more everyday. Lets see if tb psu is the issue...

It was not the power supply.
The crash has kept occuring (way less so far) when i am putting the GPU under heavy loads, after a quick google it looks like it is most likely the GPU at this point.

Could it be anything else?

Not likely. .. i was going with psu or gpu.. if you eliminated the psu , i would think its the gpu..process of elimination. ..

But if you bought a quality psu you can keep it and know you have a good psu or return it. I would keep it....

yup. im keeping it, im gonna upgrade later this year, and ill need it!

Ok. I am interested to see the outcome. .. i have been a part of three threads in one week and two of them replaced the gpu and solved the problem. Yours is number 3. Please let me know..

I have had it back for about a week, no crashes so far... i think it is fixed. not getting my hopes up though, i never do..

This sounds like a Hardware compability issue, or driver issue..
I cannot elaborate on it, because i have zero to no insight into your computer, but i'd suggest have it sendt to a computer tech.

Usually when the computer gives u a bluescreen, or does random restarts, its usually because of 1 of 3 issues.
Hardware error.
Overheating.
Driver crash.

REFRESH MY MEMORY.. give me an exact explaination of whats happening, what game it happens too, and DID YOU UPDATE YOUR BIOS? I read the thread over but I would like to hear it one more time. maybe there is a detail I overlooked
