My computer won't boot after installing Touch BIOS.

I wanted to change some settings in the BIOS, but I have never used BIOS before, so I decided to install Touch BIOS, since it seemed more beginner friendly. So after installing it with @BIOS, it prompted me to restart. While it restarted, I held down Delete to bring up the BIOS, but it was the plain, non-GUI BIOS that was installed before. So I exited, expecting the install to finalize after booting. Then the screen that said Touch BIOS and all the keys to press for different boot options flashed on the screen, but it then continued to boot into Windows. Then, as the animation with the four orbs that join to form the Windows logo started, a blue screen appeared with an error message that Windows couldn't boot.
So I have tried a few different things to try and solve the problem, such as loading default and fail safe BIOS settings, touching the CMOS jumper together with a screwdriver, and restoring from a system restore point before installing @BIOS. The CMOS jumper thing may not have worked, since I only used a screwdriver, but I really don't feel like removing the battery, since on my motherboard, it's behind the video card. Please help me, since I don't know how to solve this problem. Also, if someone could explain what caused this, that would be great too. Thanks.

My motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3

There will be a beep sound on startup. Do you hear it? Use safe mode to log on windows and see what happen. Gigabyte mobo has dual bios feature. If there is any problem in your bios then try reset it by removing battery. See if this work. Backup bios should replace corrupt bios.

I do hear the beep. How do I access safe mode? And do I need to remove the battery, since I don't feel like removing my GPU to access it, and also, I'm terrified of Electrostatic discharge. Also, thank you for helping.

To remove the battery from your mobo, first unplug power cord from case and remove your gpu if needed. Then remove the battery gently and wait for 1 min. Then put replace the battery and gpu. Restart the pc. It should reset CMOS value to default. Then

If your exist then flash the bios again with Q-flash. It is easy and you just need a usb flash drive to copy new bios. If you have gigabyte user's manual, you can see there and take any precaution. You have to download bios file from gigabyte website.

Was your OS good before flashing bios? Was there any problem in your os? Let me know.

Ok, I will try that later. I actually already tried this, but I think I didn't keep out the battery long enough. And no, I didn't have any problems with Windows before. Although, one thing I'm worried about is that I actually tried using Q Flash last night and my computer doesn't seem to be reading any drives. But hopefully this will be fixed after the CMOS reset. But I have a question: How do I know if I properly reset the CMOS? Because after my two attempts before, my computer booted with a POST error, then continued to the blue screen.

So I just removed the battery for about 45 seconds. Same thing😛OST error, blue screen error. I'm starting to get really worried. I seriously need help with this. Is there something I should do in the BIOS, like changing some sort of setting that's messing things up? Please help.

Seems like your bios is corrupted. I flash my gigabyte bios with Q-Flash from usb drive without having any problem. Check if your usb drive using FAT32/16/12 file system. There will be option to choose HDD. From there you can choose usb drive. There will two option to select: Floppy/HDD. What option do you see in Q-flash?

Your system probably crashes with error 0x0000007b because the SATA controller settings have changed. Set the controller in IDE mode to see if that helps.

Check if USB storage funtion is enable in your bios and usb controller. And make sure the BIOS update file matches your motherboard revision (e.g. rev 1.4, 1.0). Also you must extract bios file to usb flash drive. Assume you do it already.

You tried all other option. If you do all the option exactly then there is no other option i can see but to take your motherboard to gigabyte service center. But i wonder about the backup bios. It should take place to run your pc if main bios is corrupt. Did you also flash back up bios from touch bios?
