My pc specs are:
Core i7 4790
16gb of ddr3 1600mhz
Sapphire rx 480 8gb nitro +
Seasonic 620watt psu

I've got a crap load of fans in my pc it has quite a lot of air flow in it
It's a little loud but that isn't an issue since i'm using a pair of 7.1 gaming headset

Anyways i'm using arctic freezer 13 as my cpu cooler and under heavy gaming my cpu temps get up to 71°c and that's freaking me out
I was thinking of upgrading to watercooling and i found "Corsair hydro h55'' and it's affordable
But will it make any noticeable difference?
And will it fit in my Thermaltake v3 black edition?

Solution
Hi there,

71 degrees is nothing to be worried about. You are right to expect better performance from your CPU cooler but don't worry about the current temps, they aren't going to damage the CPU.

As for why the temps aren't lower, I would recommend you take off the CPU cooler and re-apply thermal paste, then put it back on and see if it's any better. Have you looked up what temps other people are getting from that cooler?

It may seem a bit frightening, but CPUs can handle temperatures to around 100c before over temperature protection kicks in, 71c is completely normal while under load/gaming, so you shouldn't have to worry. And the single fan AIO coolers tend to match the performance of the top air coolers, such as the Noctua's and Hyper 212's. Water cooling isn't needed on a CPU like yours, where overclocking isn't available.

71c is basically average and completely safe when under load, so don't worry.

Adding to your last point, I am running the same cooler on a 4590, and I get around 60-65 maybe sometimes 70c under load, so it seems pretty normal as it is not the best of coolers, but it is good enough.

i got 8 fans in total in my system 4 for the case, 2 for the video card and 1 for the cpu and 1 for the PSU
Front and top fans are pulling air in
then back and bottom fans are exhaust fans
