My Digital camera

I have some problems with my digital camera (mini Shot). When I set it into
the computer, it begins to make some noises and beeps and then I get an error
message saying:� Windows can’t recognize new hardware,� I’ve no clue how to
use that camera. I think that something is wrong with the USB hook-up,
because camera works properly. A CD is tagged on the camera but it just has a
software ;Mr.Photo, not the driver;
.. I also tried to re-install the driver but no dice.
I first thought that somebody can help me out if I check the miniShot
website out. But that site doesn't exist anymore. Here is the website:

Anyway, I have another question as well; what are the differences between
these two resolutions ; 1024*768 and 640*480. I mean which one is better.
A CD is tagged on the camera but it just has a software not the driver;
Mr.Photo.
