Question My external SSD is being read as a USB

Hey all,

My Samsung Portable SSD T5 used to be able to extract at speeds of 500mb/s, but after a recent RAM change for some reason it's now slowed all the way down to 30mb/s, and it's now being read as a USB. I don't exactly know what happened, but I was wondering if anyone had a solution.

Did you try reloading the software they give you with the drive?

Okay never mind, it looks like I slotted the SSD into a USB 1.0 slot instead of the 3.0... I'm a genius.

Okay never mind, it looks like I slotted the SSD into a USB 1.0 slot instead of the 3.0... I'm a genius.
