removing the heatspreader = no warranty. plus there is no point unless you are doing LN2 benching

Can you save me some money? I dont want to change the gfx card or to big of a drop in the cpu but i need to save some money.

well there isnt much to drop. if you drop overclocking, you save 50 bucks. if you drop the SSD, you are going to have to go through hell to add a SSD into a pre-existing rig.

well than just get a plain hard drive.

if you are to add a SSD to a pre-existing system, you would have to

-reformat hard drive
-reinstall os
-reactivate windows with microsoft
-transfer all data to the new ssd
