Removed 250gb hdd that had a warning of impending disk failure. Installed a 1.5TB HDD, fans turn on, and a blank screen.

Hello !

First off, this topic should be moved in the "Storage\Hard Drives" section.

Secondly, the HDD you removed, was it your Boot drive (was your OS installed on that drive) ? Is the "blank screen" a black screen ?

If it was, it could be that after POSTing, your computer can't do anything else because no OS is installed on that drive.

Get back to me on that,

As it turned out, I found the problem to be a bad memory. What I did was re-install the old hard drive, still had the problem. I remembered I had this same problem years ago. I removed and tested each memory panel and found one bad.
I do want to thank you because I keep these suggestions in a card file.
