Question My HDMI and DisplayPort are not working

Specs:
CPU - Ryzen 5 3600
GPU - RX 570
RAM - 8GB Vengeance Corsair
MB - ASUS B550m-K
Monitor - Acer VG240Y

Recently, I bought a 144hz monitor (Acer VG240Y) and needed to use the HDMI or DisplayPorts on my graphics card. However, those ports do not work and only the DVI port works, as with my old monitor I had to use a HDMI to DVI adaptor. When I plug in the HDMI straight to the HDMI port and bootup my computer, the ASUS splash screen shows up but then after, my monitor shows no signal. I can go to the BIOS and can see all of it but after the splash screen, it says "no signal". When I connect via DisplayPort, there is just no signal, and I cant even see the splash screen when booting up my computer.

I have updated my graphics drivers to the latest version, recommended versions and other versions but its the same problem.

What is the make/model of your PSU?

When you connected to your VG240Y via DisplayPort, did you manually select DisplayPort as the input on the display?

Do you have both your new and old displays connected to your PC?
