I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and realized that the hidden icons' tray has the older Windows 10 design, and I don't know how to fix it or if it's a problem that everyone has.

Edit: I forgot to place a photo of the normal hidden icons tray

the issue is that it should be round, because when i close and reopen explorer.exe it changes to the rounded look for some reason

This is why I wait a year until all the small bugs are worked out. Its probably just a bug that will need patched in a later update. I would just wait for it. It doesnt effect anything besides I guess, preference.. It just doesnt matter lol. Maybe try a fresh windows install if it bothers you a lot.
Just curious: why is the use of an older Windows 10 design (if so) considered as being a "problem"?

Consistency would make sense.....

Is there some reference or MS source showing that the Windows 11 hidden icons tray is/should be different?

Just an open question for discussion....
its because windows 11 has the round borders and stuff because if i reopen explorer.exe gets the rounded corner look
