My history button is not allowing me to go back a day

hi i dont know how to get my history button to go back to yesterday, the 8th nov. tried clicking on the calander but just comes up with today. ive forgotten site name so cant use that option. any suggestions please,

Do you have settings turned on to delete history on exit? Or did a clear files/history option? Or were using private browsing?
