My internet keeps dropping even with a wired connection two to three times a day sometimes.

I have xfinity internet and my router is a d-link dir 628 basically what happens is at random throughout the day everything connected to the internet will disconnected and about 10 mins later will reconnect. My guess is the router because even my pc which is hard wired gets dropped. any advice would be amazing if you all do think its the router what should i replace it with I prefer d-link cause this one has lasted quite a while its just old now. Thanks

It may also be a cable issue.

bypass the router and see if you continue to drop connection. if not, possible router. if so, your internet provider.
