Question My io sheild won't snap into place

So my motherboard is a b-360 h gaming that comes with the io shield pre-installed to the motherboard. My case is a CMT-510 by fsp. For some reason, im having a lot of trouble snapping the io sheild into place and idk if somthing is wrong or I just cant.

If I remember correctly with the IO attached to the motherboard you shouldn't have to snap it into the case as you would do so if the IO was separately. When you line it up do the holes for the motherboard match up to the case ones?

Oh thank you so much I thought it should snap in. Yeah this is my first time building my PC and the motherboard did match the standbys
