My laptop ac adapter won't work?

I don't know where to post this.

So here it goes, I was playing my console but decided to switch to laptop instead, I took my laptop and charger from my wardrobe but my laptop charger fell. Now it won't charge again. I even unplugged the battery for like 5 mins and won't work.

I borrowed my dad's charger and it works but mine doesn't? Why

It fell on the floor BTW. It wasn't wet, my floor is a marble tile. I'm really sad.. Any solutions how to fix ?

it fell onto a very hard surface--obviously damaged something

dont mess about with it just buy a new charger they arent usually designed to let you open them to try to repair

You can get one off of ebay for like 15 dollars.

My teacher's ac adapter has a lot of tapes on it..
