Hey, i recently had a toshiba laptop with intel 4th generation i7u(i know it kinda sucks ) with 8 gb of ram and amd radeon r7 m60 .... The problem is it's so freckin sluggish for these specs, like i can't even play a crappy indie game on low settings (and yes i've configured the graphics card) so what's the deal???
P.s i have an unlicensed version of windows 10 home edition

Update: the graphics card shows up in the device manager but when i see the display adapter properties it says it's Microsoft basic adapter display driver

1| You didn't mention the title of the Indie game. Often times Indie games have limited support when it comes to compatibility.
2| Have you made sure your laptop's BIOS is up to date?
3| Where are you located?
4| Are you on the latest device drivers?
5| Where did you source your installer for the OS?

1)I said an indie game as an example, actually nothing runs smoothly on this pc including openshot(video editor), audacity etc...(and to be exact the game i talked about is called flourish)

2)no and i don't know how

3)egypt, the country with slowest internet connection ever(like it took me three hours to download 300 mb file)

4) i think... as you have already figured out i am really ignorant when it comes to graphics card and hardware generally, but the answer to your question is that i installed something called amd adrenaline which made the os see the graphics card (at first i didn't find the graphics card being listed in the device manager)

5)from a sketchy dvd i bought from my local computer repair shop
