It's a 2004 year game!
I just installed it again after 5-or-so years, to bring back some memories and stuff...
But it's ridiculous that my laptop runs SA on max at the same fps it can run Skyrim on max. Literally the same fps on ultra settings.
Main specs:
Intel i5 4200-U @ 1,6 GHz & 2,6 GHz turbo
GeForce GT 750M w/4G Vram
4GB's of RAM
Fluctuates between 25-35 fps.
I don't understand. I know this laptop is only a mid-range one, for example it can run LoL @110 fps max settings, skyrim 30 fps ultra, Torchlight 2 @45 fps max settings; these are all post-2000 games (except LoL perhaps, if you don't count the updates).
BTW, I just tested it and I couldn't get more than 35 fps out of SA even when I put all the settings to low. Resolution is 1080p but then again, all the fps examples I gave above were played @1080p. Skyrim even had HD textures installed.
And ideas? :/
