My Mainboard Dont Support This CPU??? HELP PLS

Id buy Pentium4 3.0 GHz (800 FSB, 1MB 478) my old PC but after intall cpu, my computer dont show anything. Screen all black and no any sound or beep sound from bios and showing only black screen

May be the cpu is dead.

That board is listed as supporting Prescott processors. I'd put the old chip back in and boot it back up, and update the BIOS to the latest version, and try the new chip again. If that doesn't work, you might need to test the new chip in a different board that supports 800FSB prescott processors, to verify that it works.
