So i just bought a new monitor Lenovo R25-i30 for 165 Hz, from AOC Monitor 75 Hz and i noticed my GPU & Memory Clock is higher than before (1530 and 7000 mhz) while idling and browsing only, is it normal and okay? or there is some setting i need to change, thank you

Higher refresh would elevate gpu clocks and nothing to worry about. Can test it by lowering Hz and see.

If you're running Win 11 it does have dynamic refresh rate setting you could try.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/change-the-refresh-rate-on-your-monitor-in-windows-c8ea729e-0678-015c-c415-f806f04aae5a#:~:text=What is Dynamic Refresh Rate, are doing at the time.
thank you for your information, but sadly my hardware does not support dynamic refresh rate :(

Hmm ok. I thought if vrr was supported then drr would be too. Oh well, im not sure what's going on there sorry. Nothing to worry about with your original query.
alright, im just worrying the clock, is it okay to run at this point for everyday, but if u say so, ill just continue it. thanks broo

It shouldn't be running at high clocks even with high refresh rates, but this can depend on what you're doing. If you're just idling at the desktop with nothing open it shouldn't be clocking up so long as you're not doing anything. I have a 1440p 144hz ultrawide and 1200p 60hz screen and my 1660 Ti never clocked up unless I was doing something that engaged it and my current 3080 behaves the same.

i just opened the chrome, whatsapp, and apple music while working and it runs at 1100 gpu clock and 7000 memory clock (5-6% gpu usage) but if i change refresh rate to 60 hz, it change to 300 gpu clock and 400 memory clock with same apps.. huge difference

Being Radeon igpu though and possibly because some generation Amd cards in the past got a little fussy with high refresh rates needing elevated clocks to remain stable. Wouldn't be surprised if that's still the case now.
