Question My monitor freezes like 5-10 seconds ?

Hello everyone. I have a monitor issue ( i think ) . Here is the problem :
While the 3/2 part of the monitor freezes where it last left off, the upper part looks like the picture. I can see the mouse movement in the top 1 cm area. I used to have a DP cable about 2 weeks ago and this problem started to occur when I had that cable. Afterwards, I replaced it with an HDMI cable and the problem was resolved, but after 2 weeks, the same thing started happening again. My bios settings are on optimized defaults. I haven't tried any overclocking. My drivers are up to date . My monitor model is MSI G241 .Can you help me ?

What's your pc specs?

Either it's the monitor playing up or the graphics card/igpu. Not sure of your specs so if you're using a graphics card and also have integrated graphics try one or the other. Also try a different display, ie TV if you can connect to one.

Trying these couple of things should give some idea which part is failing.
