[SOLVED] My monitor is glitching out after switching to 144hz.

Hello, I have a AOC 144hz Freesync gaming monitor. Everytime I change to 144hz a very weird glitch occurs, where I see flickering and colors glitched out, theres no way i can look at this for more then 20 seconds. I use DVI and I have a Gforce GTX 1050ti, all drivers are up to date. Can someone help me in this situation?

What is the precise model number of your AOC monitor (and what inputs does it have)?

What type of DVI cable are you using (dual link etc.)

Some monitors only support high refreshrates on a specific input and not the others, or maybe the cable you use, needs to be a different version.

My monitor model is called: AOC G2460PF. I use DVI-I Single link.

I downloaded the manual, and seems it requires DVI-D Dual Link or DisplayPort for 1920x1080 @ 144Hz, as far as I can see.

So I would think, that the graphical glitches you see at 144Hz are caused by using the wrong cable
