My motherboard doesn't detect USB- devices

I have just finished building my brother a computer and I had only 1 problem during the whole build. I had a broken RAM- stick which meant that the computer didn't work and the monitor displayed: "No signal". I replaced the broken one with a semi new one and it works. But now I'm facing a problem. It shows me a menu before the BIOS menu but I can't access it because the motherboard doesn't detect any USB- devices on any port. And I know for a fact that everything in that PC works except maybe the motherboard. But if the motherboard is broken, would it even work at all? My motherboard is "FM2A68M-HD+" btw.

Solution
If the PS2 keyboard does not work or you can't find one then Reset the MB BIOS to defaults with MB jumper (procedure is documented in your MB manual). The reset/default MB config will work with just about anything.

See if you can get hold of a native PS/2 keyboard, that motherboard has such a port at the back for sure.
That should work. No idea why USB K/B don't work at boot time though, just suggesting a workaround.

May be you need to enable "legacy USB" support or something similar in the BIOS - - a classic "catch 22".

I had to use a PS/2 K/B to access the BIOS on my ASRock board too, though it's a 6-year old board, not a new one like yours.

Thanks. I just tried the MB jumber reset and it works now! Every port works and I'm able to use at least the keyboard. I'm gonna find about the other devices once I install a operation system. (I have a traditional usb keyboard btw). I still have to wait to get a operating system but it's gonna arrive in only 4 days. Thanks again.
