Especially when playing a game (Apex or Ultimate Skyrim), my mouse will stop, and a USB disconnect sound will play. Then it just goes back to normal.

I've tried everything. Every "solution" I've found.
  • Reconnecting the USB (Also to another port)
  • Turning off the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" setting on all root hubs.
  • r e b o o t i n g t h e p c
  • Reinstalling mouse drivers
  • Reinstalling USB hub drivers
  • Trying another mouse
  • Updating BIOS
  • Summoning Satan
  • Disabling USB suspending in power options
The temperatures are all good, so that's not the issue.

I have an old PSU, that's the only thing I can think of, that could cause this issue. I don't have another to check it, though. Alternatively, maybe the motherboard? This happens when I plug the mouse into the front USB ports, too.

This started happening a few days ago.
