my MSI z97 wont overclock my i5-4690k

Hello guys!

I have a problem, that my CPU wont overclock. I have a MSI Z97 motherboard and i5-4690k CPU. The problem is when i go to BIOS everything is locked, i cant change or do anything that can change the speed of my CPU, the only things i can change is the part that has: [ .. ] around it. But thats just some small boost and stuff. (Photo 1)

When i have my mouse over "CPU Ratio" it says: This item can only be changed if the processor supports this function. (Photo 2)

I send a message to the shop where i bought it and they were like: "Nope, You tried to overclocked it so thats not our problem."

So.. What do i do??

So you are unable to change Auto to something like Override, Offset or Adaptive? When you change it to one of those, some of the screen options may change.

At the top is [All Cores] what other options does that allow? Sorry for the questions, I'm much more familiar with a different BIOS.

Im 100% unable to change auto to something else, i dont know why and thats what im trying to find out.
All Cores option only allow me to change between All Cores or Per Core

I can go take some other pictures if you want, i have plenty of time.

Nope, we need someone with MSI BIOS experience. Something needs to be 'unlocked'

Well im running an msi board, the x99 series though and all i had to do in my bios was literally click auto and change it to the number i needed ;/

Hold on mate, i got this.

Click with your mouse where it says cpu ratio and use your KEYBOARD to type out 40 (or whatever number frequency you need)
Click the AUTO on cpu ratio and type it
