Hello,
I just purchased a Nakamichi RX-202. Was unable to test it at the time of purchase but only paid $15 for it and its in great cosmetic condition so I could not pass it up. While testing it I found that the cassette deck was not working properly.
It powers on without problem. I can push the eject button to open the deck and it will stay open. When I push the button to close it or press play (with or without a cassette in it) it will close fine and stays closed for a couple seconds then opens on its own. I tried it a few times with a cassette and without but had the same result. The reverse also does not work but makes a sound when I attempt to use it. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
