[SOLVED] My new 9900k +16gb 4500 Mhz Corsair DD4 Ram + z390 motherboard keeps crashing

I just bought a new 9900k + 4500mhz ddr4 ram and MSI z390 micro atx mobo and whenever I open up battlefield V. My CPU temp goes from 45'C to 75'C like in 3 seconds and then my computer crashes with the blue screen.

Why?

Running 4500 memory is just nuts, hat's off to you if you can get them running.

Blue screening i bet my bottom dollar its the ram.

Did you enable xmp and dram is running at 1.45v?

Your temps are ok, wouldn't go over 80c. Though running the Cpu's memory controller that high would add more heat, how much more I'm not sure but there would be an increase compared to say 3200.

Run memtest64 via USB boot to establish memory stability.

If it throws errors within the 1st or 2nd test then youll have to tweak the bios settings further. As in adding more cpu voltage and manually configure ram voltage and timings yourself rather than use xmp.

I did enable XMP and it did run at 4500mhz. I reduced it to 4400mhz and my game stop crashing but there is a tremendously noticeable input lag. Like, my mouse and actual gameplay is seconds apart...

What did xmp set dram voltage to?

Not sure if memory could cause input lag, it might if still unstable but operating enough not to bsod. You disabled vsync yea to test input lag?

If did disable vsync and still lags, it could be software related. Would require more digging to find the cause. Im assuming the windows you have is a fresh install?

Try lower ram frequency to 3200

Is memory on the motherboards QVL, only a few at 4400Mhz?
