Hi guyss! I create my budget pc build 'cause i'd like to upgrade my currently pc.

My budget is 900$ approximately.

If you could review my build and write me what can i change there I will be really greatfull! Thank you in advance!

My build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/N2b6bL

(I will add SSD from my currently pc to new pc so I chose only 500 gb./ In future I will buy M2 storage, but I have limit low budget for now)

Peace out!

What are all of the parts from your current pc?
Perhaps more can be reused than you think.

What is the intended use for this pc?
In what way does your current pc not do the job?

Some thoughts on your parts:

I would always try not to buy a F suffix processor.
Giving up integrated graphics for a minor savings seems to always bite you when you have a graphics issue.

Cooler is cheap, I think with a K processor you might be able to do better.
Or, consider one of the 65w processors that come with a good cooler.
I5-13400 for example.

The power supply is not of great quality.

Some games now need more than 16gb of ram.
You are ok, generally with 16gb unless you multitask while gaming.
Adding ram later may not work, ram must be matched.

I would suggest something like this:

Better mobo wih beefier VRMs

better SSD

much better value for money GPU

10 years of no headache PSU

case with included fans and front panel type C

Do you think guys RX GPU will be better option than Nvidia cards in that budget? (Personally, I prefer Nvidia cards, but If RX are better for performance in this budget I will take it)

I've a question about cooler, do you think that double cooler like Thermalright cooler is necessary? I wonder about ENDORFY Fera 5

And about Power supply, you think 650W will be not enough?

Okey guys, I did research and I noticed ATX motherboards are cheapers when socket is AM4, not 1700 for intel.
So broos, what CPU from AMD do you recommend me in better value for money.
(I care about high performance for main games).

AMD am4 is going to be about equivalent to Intels 12th Gen at best and no upgrade path. If you build new with it, get the 5700x3d or 5800x3d.

But if you build with it, be sure this is a system you are keeping for a few years and realize you won’t be able to upgrade the CPU.

If you go Intel 1700, even one of the 12th gen parts, you could later upgrade to 15th gen.

On the gpu side here’s a comparison of the rx 6800 vs the 4060ti. The 6800 is last generation but would be a class or two above the 4060ti I think.

A few changes bringing the price to $939 and I would find the additional $30 to $40 though with some searching on eBay and the like by picking up a second hand or return open boxed motherboard you can save even more. I would go Z series motherboard as you will have additional PCI lanes for future proofing, with Gen 5 again for future proofing. You will also be on the latest DDR 5 with 32Gb Ram.

I think I'm not gonna upgrade my set in future, so do you think FOR NOW build with 5700x3d/ 5800x3d and rx6800 is great in this low budget?

MARGINAL CASE ---> Or maybe you have idea for equivalent to rx6800 in nvidia on pretty same performance and better value for money.

I would say stick with the 12600kf with DDR4 rams for now. You can still upgrade to the 14700k with a bios update.

As for GPU performance:

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/WM...-radeon-rx-6800-16-gb-video-card-rx-68xlaqfde

The intel CPUs runs a bit hot. I would say that the Phantom spirit cooler is the better choice compared to the Fera 5.

I update my future build:
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS
Memory: G.SKILL Aegis 16GB [2x8GB 3200MHz DDR4 CL16 XMP 2.0 DIMM]
Storage: TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z 512 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: Radeon RX6800 SWFT 319 16GB GDDR6
Power Supply: ENDORFY Vero L5 Bronze 700W/ Cooler Master MWE Bronze 750W V2 80+ Bronze

I don't know about power Supply what power this set need

Nvidia and amd price/performance is comparable at any level.
Tom's gpu hierarchy guide will show you the equivalents.
https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html

There is value in sticking with the video driver system you are now comfortable with.

A similar argument applies to processors. Price/performance will be comparable.
If you are familiar with intel, ram is of little concern. Ryzen, on the other hand needs fast ram for performance and there are more compatibility issues than you might expect. If you go ryzen, buy only known supported ram kits.

Thermalright coolers are very good. Larger twin tower coolers will cool better and be quieter.
They are not that expensive.

On the psu, buy stronger than you think you might need.
The price delta for 750w or 850w may not be that great.
It will allow a future stronger graphics card.
But... Buy only a quality psu. Look for at least a 7 year warranty, preferably 10 or 12.

In my opinion you have two options, an intel 12600kf build and a 5700X3d build. I would hold off on more storage for now and just use whatever SSD you have from the previous build to get higher quality parts.

For the money I'd go with one of the 2 builds above. Personally I lean toward the intel build but either is going to be good imo. Check the link above for the corsair 850 watt power supply. It was 90 I think at newegg with a promo code.

Actually here's the link again. Found it. Looks like with promo it's the same price as the 750. So should give a bit more headroom.
