Question My new rig temp issues

Msi mortar titanium b360m, I 8700 non K 16 gig DDR4 2132 corsair and a gtx 970 700w antec psu. Cooling 2140 front blowing in top directly onto cpu cooler bottom fsn on secondary mech drive and haft on gpu. CPU cooler cooler master MA410M TUF 2120 push pull fans and 140 out at back behind cooler. Temps 38 to 40 idle 85 stress testing which is ok but second i try and run handbrake 90+ any ideas W10 and Bios is updated as are all drivers bois is as defualt except the boot disbaled everything but the windows m2 ssd. so no overclocking less msi is messing but why problem on handbrake only? Hope this is enough info anything else ask. Im new to all this so bare with.

Weeeeeeird, are you sure that the cooler fits correctly or tight enough , not over tight.

reseated it with new artic mx4 looks good its spring loaded so i dont think you can over tighten the spring makes the contact. FYI its possible im wrong its often the case

Update...this morning i turned on the unit. ran a few checks still idle at 38 but never touched 70 in any of the stress tests.........I have done nothing. For the last 5 hours all is good. Im at a loss im happy my pc works but i no idea why. Ill chalked it in the win column but its gonna bug the crap out of me till i work out why.
