When I first built the PC, I had a an m.2 500gb ssd and a sata 2tb hard drive and installed my windows to the ssd, now, newer games require an ssd so I went and bought a 1tb m.2 ssd, install went fine, but when I go past my motherboard splash screen and try and boot to windows I get a message saying reboot and select proper boot drive or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.
I restart it and go to the bios and see the boot option has selected the new driv, I change it to the old ssd with windows on it but I don’t see my hard drive boot option anymore as it used to be there when I first built the pc and set the boot drive back then.
I try and boot again and the same thing happens
I read somewhere that when windows installs not all of it goes into the boot drive and some of the install goes onto a separate drive
I also read that if 2 m.2 ssds are installed some sata ports get disabled so maybe the two things are related ?
I need someone to help me please!
