Hi everyone,

Well, first it crashed (blue screen followed by restart) while playing BF:bad company 2 (could happen after 5 seconds could be 2 hours). I assumed the game might be a bit too much for my system as it was running sluggishly, so I got COD 4: MW. Of course, it crashed during that game, too. It used to crash during normal usage (surfing web etc.) until I got a new hard drive. Now it only crashes during games (hooray).
My specs are as follows:
Win 7 Ultimate 32bit
EP43-DS3L
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7300 2.66GHz
2GB RAM
Radeon 4670 2GB

Is there anything specifically problematic with my hardware? What should I do??

Thanks!

I couldn't find a brand name on that thing actually... All I found was 1GB DDR2 PC800.

Might also want to check your settings before sending it off. If your ram is 5-5-5-18 @ 2.0v and your trying to run it at 5-5-5-15 @ 1.8v that could be your problem. Look up your ram and figure out what settings its supposed to be using, then verify that's what your using.

Hmm, I think I found my current settings after running CPU-Z:

Unfortunately all I know about my RAM is what I said above, and I can't find the right settings for that.

Do you think this could be the cause or should I just go ahead and replace the two sticks?

Its not what CPUz reports your memory running at, its what the manufacturers said you should be running it at. You are currently running at DDR2-800 with 6-6-6-18 timings and a voltage of 1.8. The question is what did your manufacturer say to run the ram at?

I guess it would be difficult to figure out what the manufacturer specs are for the RAM when the OP can't figure out who the manufacturer is, or anything else about the ram.

OP- could you take a couple pics and show us what your RAM looks like? Maybe one of us could identify it for you.
