My PC crashes randomly after CPU upgrade

Recently I bought an AMD FX-9590 CPU and since I installed it the PC crashes randomly. I know I have enough power from the psu so I think it may be in bios. If anyone had any idea what could be wrong then would they be able to help

Mobo- Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
PSU- Corsair CX600
GPU- AMD Radeon R7 240 2GB DDR3
1 TB Hardrive
8 GB RAM

I think you need a 990fx-chipset board to run either of the 2 FX-9000 chips, that board probably doesn't support it.

You have a $250 dollar cpu on a $50 mainboard and it is not on their cpu support list (mainboard). Also that cx600 is not good quality either. I don't mean to be rude, but you really have a bad match going on there.

AMD FX-9590 is not listed on the supported CPU list.

I think this will be the board I will get, I have looked at it in the past and I think it is time to get it

When I get a new motherboard do I need to rebut windows or can it be transferred

it'll freak out a little bit, but you shouldn't need to reinstall windows. It may act awkward during the first initial boot into the operating system, but after you install the mobo drivers and restart it a few times it'll be fine
