Question My PC crashes when I load up games. It sometimes fixes itself for a month or so but then eventually comes back ?

This has been happening for quite a while now (around 2 years), and it happens on the loading screen of games, usually when a screen that says 'Press ... to start' and sometimes in the menus. The PC just black screens and restarts. I previously got rid of the issue with a factory reset, but this has not always helped. Most recently, I factory reset and the issue was still there, so to me this is not a fix and it was something else.

I left it and just didn't play any games for a couple of days, and the PC fixed itself for around 2 weeks but the issue is now back again. I have tested the PSU and it doesn't seem to be the problem, but I feel like it may something with the motherboard and power delivery.

My PC specifications are:
Motherboard: Asus Prime B365-Plus
CPU: Intel i5-9400F
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 (KFA2)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 2600Mhz
(Pretty sure it's capped at 2666Mhz because of motherboard speed limit)
Storage: Intel SSDPEKNW010T9 1TB and WD Black SN85X with Heatsink 2TB

Please let me know if you have any ideas as to what the issue might be, I would greatly appreciate it :)

PSU make and model (or part number) is? Also, how old the PSU is, and was the PSU bought new or used/refurbished?

I have tested the PSU and it doesn't seem to be the problem
How exactly you tested the PSU?

but I feel like it may something with the motherboard and power delivery.
MoBo only has VRMs, that can act up. But PSU acting up is FAR more likely than MoBo VRMs.

And "feel like" doesn't confirm/deny anything.

Hello Aeacus, thank you for reaching out and trying to help, I really appreciate it.
The PC is a prebuilt that I got in March of 2021, with the PSU being the bequiet! System Power 9 500W. I have tested the PSY with a PSU tester from Amazon, just to check that all the cables were working and were delivering power as they should. I know this isn't a proper test as it can't test the PSU under load, but it was all I had access to. If there is anything else you need to know, please let me know.
(Replies may take a while due to UK timezone so I apologise for any inconveniences)

Low quality PSU. And it ever came with 3 year warranty, so, PSU being the suspect, is high.

Here, i'd replace the PSU with better good/great quality unit.
Good PSUs to go for, are:
Seasonic Focus/Vertex/PRIME, Corsair RMx/RMi/HXi/AXi, Super Flower Leadex Gold/Platinum/Titanium.

(My 3x PCs are also powered by Seasonic. I have 2x PRIME TX-650 units and one Focus PX-550 unit. Full specs with pics in my sig.)

650W unit does fine. Higher capacity unit wouldn't hurt either;

These PSU testers are waste of money.

All this does, is like you turning on the car engine and when engine starts, you instantly assume that the car drives just fine, without ever doing the test drive.
So, no. Just turning on the PSU, without putting any load to it, doesn't mean PSU works fine.

Once you've replaced the low quality unit and issue still doesn't go away, then it would be good time to look towards other components, like MoBo VRMs or GPU. But i'm quite sure that the PSU is at fault, since PSU fails to keep the PC powered on, once you put a meaningful load on the PSU (starting a game puts GPU under heavier load, thus GPU pulls more watts from PSU and when PSU can't deliver it, it shuts down, making entire PC to shut down or reboot).
