Hello! thanks for the info, I'll try to do this i hope it works. Because even doing a playback on my work there are times that it is also lagging even though it is just the video without any heavy animations happening.HI
From what I have read on the premiere pro forums. This seems to be a Program issue. Adobe has been known to use high resources even it PDF read does that is why I changed.
Most of the forum members had higher GPU model than the 1660 and still have this issue. and some had i9 gen CPU Many users have had this issue after updating the program.
I would suggest you updated drivers to your GPU. this maybe be the cause of the black screen. There is a premiere pro 22.2. Not that would solve this issue.
Link for drivers, click the download service and select your GPU model and OS

hello, its been a long time and i forgot to get back here. But it still persist after trying to update the drivers. I've also tried to roll back nvidia drivers, perform couple of times of clean installation using DDU and also changed my video card from 1650 super to 1660 super, it still happened after that. Then I updated my bios and changed my cpu from ryzen 5 2600 to r7 5700x, it didn't occur for a couple of days but then the freeze and black screen happened again but not as frequent as before.HI
