hi friends, i was purchase a Intel i7 4790 3.60 GHz processor, ASrock Z97 Extreme 3 motherboard and 8 gb kinston hyperx ram, in july 2014. The problem is, when i work in any 3d software like 3ds max, maya, zbrush etc. or playing video games, my PC gives strange sound "grrrrrrrr" "grrrrr" . But, when i minimize or close these softwares or any game, no sound generated. Sound comes out through speakers not from cpu cabinet. Even if i move the viewport of the 3d software, sound like "grrrr" comes out all the time. i face this problem from 1 month.

I was test the sound while working on 3d software with headphone and earphones, then no sound was generated by my PC.

What you think, is there any processor and motherboard compatibility problem or should i change my creative 2.1 sound or is there any problem in my motherboard.

First... drivers drivers drivers. Make sure all your drivers are up to date (MB / GPU / Etc...). Second... firmware. Check for BIOS updates that may address your issue or sound similar.

Likely no issue with your physical hardware... rather you may be getting interference. Crack the case open and reroute any USB / audio / internal cabling away from the internal components. ...as best as you can anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion, i have done all the things like formatting the window, re-installed drivers. You said update the bios, but there is a warning on the ASRock website " if your bios works fine don't update bios" something like this.

Then i was removed my graphics card Nvidia 9600 gt 1 gb, and then i checked again 3ds max, Maya and Vue. I was checking in these softwares, modeling and rendering tasks, there is no "grrrrr" sound comes out. but when i connect my graphics card again in my PC, that "grrrr" sound comes back.

So, it means fault is in my graphics card and i should change it ?
