Question My PC Is rebooting without BSOD or Event Viewer Log ?

Hi, the issue started some days ago when I was playing Doom: The Dark Ages, Helldivers 2 and Space Marine 2. My PC randomly restarts without any BSOD—just an instant reboot. Sometimes it happens after a 2-hour gaming session, and other times just 5 minutes on the desktop. Also there is no Event Viewer Log only that PC closed unexpectedly.

I’ve tried undervolting, but it didn’t help. I also updated my BIOS, but the issue persisted. When I ran OCCT + Cinebench + DOOM simultaneously for 20 minutes, I was able to reproduce the reboot 100% of the time.

So, I reverted my GPU drivers to version 566.36. After that, I ran OCCT (CPU, RAM, and GPU), Cinebench, and DOOM at the same time for an hour, and everything seemed stable—I thought the problem was fixed.

However, later that day, the PC rebooted again when I opened Task Manager (though I don’t think that’s related). After that reboot, it restarted again just 10 seconds after reaching the desktop. It also rebooted after Beat Saber (via PCVR) crashed due to VC_Redist error (i reinstalled the VC). I opened Task Manager and was about to press "End Task" when the PC suddenly restarted.

I replaced my PSU recently because it had died about a week ago. But I don’t think the PSU is the issue, since I was able to run all those stress tests successfully before the reboots occurred. CPU temps never go above 80°C.

I also want to mention that I have 32GB of RAM: 2x8GB HyperX Fury and 2x8GB Kingston Fury. As far as I know, they’re essentially the same modules, just rebranded under a different name, so I don’t think that’s the issue. I’ve had the Kingston sticks installed since March, and I didn’t experience any reboots until now.

The only thing I haven’t tried yet is reinstalling Windows.

At the time of writing this, I’ve been running Cinebench + DOOM + OCCT for two hours and everything is still working fine. I’m not sure what’s causing the issue—could it be the motherboard? Or maybe something with Windows?

My PC Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X

GPU: RTX 4060 Ti 16GB

Motherboard: MSI B450-A PRO MAX

PSU: MSI 750W Gold

RAM: 32GB (2x8GB HyperX Fury + 2x8GB Kingston Fury)

Windows 11 24h2

If this problem only occurred after replacing the PSU, I would suspect the PSU even though it is new.

Test with just one kit of ram.
If no help try the other kit.
Best not to mix ram.

Yeah, I know it's the same kits, just under a different name. Same company, just rebranded. They worked fine for two months, but maybe something's starting to go wrong. I'll check it out.

Still reboots after one hour. I will try to reinstall Windows today
