Hi guys, my gaming rig is experiencing some problems with hardware acceleration, as the title says: the pc stops working when this acceleration thing reaches a certain limit (which idk what it is)
it doesn't shut down completely but instead the pc won't display any video on my monitor, the fans go like F1 cars and there's no reset at all, i need to push the power button to turn it off then push it again and turn it back on. As i just said, i'm not able to do anything but to push the power button on the case
this has happened in quite particular situations: Discord streaming, playing apex legends, video editing on davinci resolve
as of discord streaming situation, whenever i start an stream on voice chat my network connection won't work as i get a LOT of latency and my pc will perform very slow i'm barely able to stop the streaming to get it back to normal
playing apex legends is been a nightmare since it randomly stop working at some point (there's a few times when i'm able to play for several hours and it will work perfectly)
with davinci resolve i've encountered that the pc stops working when i add very particular effects such as depth map and auto captions, also when exporting a project (None of this has happened me on premiere pro)
Now that i've covered all these situations let me give you essential information: there's no overheating at all, no bottlenecking, cpu seems fine as far as i can tell, i optimized my hdd recently (no errors found), never messed with Bios settings nor cpu settings nor gpu settings
this has been happening from 6 months now or so, back then it was like one shut per month or every 2 weeks, now it's like 10+ shuts on a single day
