Just connect a single 8 pin (4+4) to the motherboard for the CPU. You do not need any more for the pc to function.

What are your full system specs?
My system specs are i3 10100f, z490 a pro (planning on upgrading), evga gd 500, delta force rgb ram 3000 mhz, rx 480 strix. the evga only comes with a 4+4 but z490 needs a 4+4 and a 4, if thats the problem what other psu should i get.
