Once way to prevent the TrayApp error from occurring is to properly remove HP programs using the "Add/Remove Programs" option from the Control Panel.

You can use autoruns to see where this app is launched from. It's most likely in the registry: HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run. If so, just delete the necessary key and it should stop erroring.
